Chicken Broccoli Dinner

Ingredients

2 packages frozen broccoli spears, thawed and drained

3 ½ to 4 pounds chicken, cooked and boned

Velveeta cheese

1 can cream of mushroom soup

½ cup real mayonnaise

1 can water chestnuts, drained and sliced

1 can french fried onion rings

Directions

Place thawed broccoli in well-greased 8x12 or 9x13-inch pan. Cut up chicken meat in large pieces and put over broccoli. Cut cheese in ⅛-inch pieces (use as much as you like) and sprinkle over entire pan. Mix soup with mayonnaise and spread over cheese. Sprinkle sliced water chestnuts over the top. Bake 40 minutes at 350 degrees. Top with onion rings and bake 20 minutes longer.

Can be put together ahead of time and refrigerated.
