
⅓ C. enriched white rice, raw
1 ½ to 2 C. water
1 beef bouillon cube
1 t. Parsley flakes
½ t. Almond extract
2 T. onion flakes
Brown uncooked rice in cast iron skillet. When lightly browned, add onion flakes. Mix water with crumbled bouillon cube. When onions are dark brown, add water slowly. Add parsley flakes and almond extract. Cook rice until tender, stirring several times. When serving, top with allowed amount of diet margarine, mix well. Serves 2.
