Won Tons

Ingredients

2 pounds ground lean pork

3 teaspoons salt

½ teaspoon pepper

4 tablespoons finely chopped water chestnuts

4 teaspoons cornstarch

1 teaspoon Accent

4 tablespoons chopped scallions

4 teaspoons soy sauce

1 package won ton skins

Directions

With hands, blend ingredients except for won ton skins. Roll meat mixture into about 60 balls, about as big as a quarter. Place one roll in the center of won ton skin. Fold the skin in half diagonally, sealing the edges with beaten egg (use finger to spread egg). Then, fold the two points of the fold towards the center, slightly overlapping the points. (It should look like an envelope with and open flap.) Place in hot oil and fry until golden brown, about 2 to 3 minutes. Makes 60 won tons. To reheat, place in 400 degree oven for two to three minutes. Serve hot. (Won ton skins can be found in the frozen food sections of grocery stores.)
