Batter for Vegetables - Deep Fried

Ingredients

¾ cup cornstarch

¼ cup unsifted flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

½ teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon pepper

½ cup water

1 egg slightly beaten

Directions

Combine dry ingredients. Mix in water and egg. As you dip the vegetables, stir the batter occasionally. Heat oil to 375 degrees.
