Best Episcopal Pancakes in Minnesota

Ingredients

Makes 8 servings

6 eggs

1 quart buttermilk

2 teaspoons baking soda

4 cups flour

2 tablespoons baking powder

1 teaspoon salt

2 tablespoons sugar

1 package dry yeast

ΒΌ cup cooking oil

Directions

Beat eggs, Set aside. Mix baking soda into buttermilk. Beat to a froth. Mix in remaining dry ingredients and cooking oil. Mix into well-beaten eggs. (Note: if too thick add cream or milk) Stir before using.
