
1 package (6 ounces) chocolate chips
1 egg
2 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
¼ teaspoon salt
½ cup plus 2 tablespoons milk (Dorothy uses half and half)
Whirl chocolate chips, egg, sugar, vanilla, and salt in blender at high speed to mix and break up the chocolate pieces. Meanwhile, heat the milk just to boiling. Pour into six pots de creme or demitasses; chill. Top with dab of whipped cream. Serves 6.
