Bran Muffins

Ingredients

Cream together:

1 ½ cups sugar

2 cups salad oil

Add the following ingredients in this order:

2 eggs - add and beat well

2 cups buttermilk

2 ½ cups flour

2 ½ tsp soda

½ tsp salt

2 cups 100% Nabisco bran

1 cup bran buds

1 cup boiling water 1 cup raisins (NOTE: I use 2 cups)

Directions

Dough may be stored in refrig 3-4 weeks.

Bake at 400 for 15 minutes

Makes about 42 muffins.
