
Makes about 1 dozen
2 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
4 tablespoons butter
1 cup milk
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Garlic salt (salt crossed off and powder written in)
Into mixing bowl, sift flour, baking powder and salt. Cut in butter until crumbly. Quickly stir in cheese and milk until just blended. Drop by tablespoonfuls onto greased baking sheet. Brush with melted butter. Sprinkle with garlic salt. Bake in 450-degree oven for 12 to 15 minutes. Serve warm.
