
12 oz chocolate chips, melt and cool slightly (handwritten note: if too cool it gets like grated choc when added to cream)
4 egg whites - beat well
4 tsp sugar - add to egg whites
1 pint whipping cream - whip, then add 4 egg yolks
Blend chocolate into cream mixture, then fold in egg whites. Tear apart into bite-size pieces one angel food cake. Put ½ in 9x13 pan. Pour ½ of chocolate cream mixture over cake. Add remaining ½ of cake and then pour remaining cream mixture over. Refrigerate overnite. Serves 12 generously or 15. Top with whipped cream and cherry.
