1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
¼ cup light cream or evaporated milk
1 cup hot water (or substitute coffee)
1 cup miniature marshmallows
Liquid and egg required in chocolate cake mix
2 cups chocolate cake mix
½ cup walnuts
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 8-inch square pan. Put chocolate chips, cream and boiling hot coffee into blender container, cover and process until smooth. Pour into prepared pan. Sprinkle with marshmallows.
Put remaining ingredients except nuts into blender container, cover and process only until smooth. Stop blender, add nuts, cover only until nuts are chopped. Pour batter over sauce and marshmallows. Bake about 40 minutes. Serve warm, inverting cake on individual plates and spooning the liquid mixture from the bottom of the pan on top. Serves 6 to 8.
