
Dressing:
⅓ cup rice wine vinegar
¼ cup sesame or vinegar
⅓ cup honey (or sugar)
3 tablespoons soy sauce
Salad:
1 medium head green cabbage, shredded
½ small head red cabbage, shredded
2 tablespoons butter
1 cup sliced almonds
¼ cup sesame seeds
1 2.8-ounce package Ramen noodles, crushed (discard flavor packet)
In blender combine rice wine vinegar, sesame oil, honey and soy sauce. Cover and refrigerate.
Shred or chop cabbage, place in a large mixing bowl. Cover and refrigerate.
Place butter in large skillet over medium heat. Add almonds, sesame seeds and ramen noodles. Saute until golden brown, stirring frequently. Set aside to cool completely.
Place cabbage in serving bowl. Pour dressing over salad. Add nut mixture. Toss. Serve.
