Fluffy Lemon Frosting

Ingredients

6 tablespoons (¾ stick) butter or margarine

3 cups powdered sugar

1 ½ tablespoons milk

1 ½ tablespoons lemon juice

1 ½ tablespoons vanilla

1 teaspoon grated lemon peel

Yellow food coloring

Directions

In a mixing bowl, combine all ingredients except food coloring. Beat on medium speed until light and fluffy, 2 to 4 minutes. Add coloring a drop at a time, beating until desired color. Frosts one large loaf or 9-inch square cale or top of a 13x9x2-inch cake.
