
3 ½ cups vanilla wafers
⅔ cup butter (melted)
6 eggs, separated
2 cans sweetened condensed milk
1 6oz can lemonade
4 Tbsp lemon juice
1 pint whipping cream
Crush vanilla wafers and combine with butter. Put in 9x13 pan. Beat egg yolks. Add condensed milk, lemonade and lemon. Beat until thick.
Whip cream. Fold into lemon mixture. Pour on top of wafers. Beat egg whites until stiff, slowly adding ¾ cup sugar. Pour on top of lemon mixture, making peaks. Put under broiler until meringue is golden brown. Watch closely. Freeze. Remove from freezer before serving and thaw to ice cream consistency
