
1 (9 inch) unbaked pie shell
1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
⅓ cup sugar
¼ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 egg
1 ¼ cups chopped pecans
Topping
¼ cup sugar
1 cup light corn syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 eggs
Heat oven to 375 degrees. In a small bowl, combine cheese, sugar, salt, vanilla and egg; blend until smooth. Spread in bottom of unbaked pastry shell; sprinkle with pecans. In a small bowl, combine topping ingredients; blend well. Pour over pecans and bake 35 to 40 minutes or until center is firm to the touch; cool before serving.
