Ready to Eat Cucumber Pickles

Ingredients

7 cups sliced cucumbers

1 cup chopped green pepper

1 cup sliced onion

2 Tbls salt

Directions

Sprinkle salt over cucumbers, green peppers and onions. Mix well. Let set about 1 hour then drain. (Note: rinse off a bit to get rid of some of the salt)

Mix separately:

2 cups sugar

1 cup vinegar (white)

1 Tbls celery seed

Pour over cucumbers, peppers and onions.

Store in covered jar in refrigerator. Keeps about 1 month,
