Snickerdoodles

Ingredients

1 cup soft shortening

1 ½ cups sugar

2 eggs

2 tsp cream of tartar

1 tsp soda

½ tsp salt

2 ¾ cups flour

Directions

Mix together. Roll into balls the size of walnuts. Dip in mixture of 2 tsp sugar and 2 tsp cinnamon.

Bake at 375 8-10 minutes

Makes about 5 dozen cookies (4 ½ dz)
