
2 oz fresh yeast or 3 pkg rapid rise dry - stir into 1 c warm water and 1 tsp sugar
5 cups warm water
1 cup sugar
2 Tbls salt
¾ c crisco
Mix in enough flour so dough is not loose (12-13 cups). About 5#. Then let rise until double. Punch down and let rise again. Punch down and make it into loaves. Let rise till a little above pans. Bake 45 min at 350.
