Watergate Cake

Ingredients

1 package (19 ounces) white or yellow cake mix

1 package (3 ½ ounces) pistachio instant pudding mix

3 eggs

¾ cup cooking oil

1 cup 7-Up

1 teaspoon vanilla

½ cup chopped nuts

½ cup coconut

Directions

Mix together cake mix and instant pudding mix. Add eggs and cooking oil; mix well. Slowly add 7-Up; stir in vanilla, nuts and coconut. Pour into greased and floured 9x13 inch pan and bake in 350 degree over for 30 to 35 minutes. Let set 10 minutes before removing from pan. Frost when cool.

Frosting

1 package (3 ½ ounces) pistachio instant pudding mix

2 envelopes dream whip

1 ½ cups milk

½ cup coconut

¾ cup finely chopped nuts

Combine pudding mix, dream whip and milk; beat until thickened and spread on cake. Top with coconut and finely chopped nuts. Cover and keep in refrigerator until ready to serve.
